The trailer of Marvel’s anticipated Thor:Love and Thunder has been released and it shows a female Thor towards the end.
It reveals what happened to Asgardian Avengers after the events of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.
Thor: Love and Thunder will be in theatres July 8 featuring Chris Hemsworth as the titular god, Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher, Chris Pratt as Peter Quill of “Guardians of the Galaxy” and Tessa Thompson as the heroic Valkyrie while other parts of the film are not known.
The film from the trailer is set to Guns N’ Roses’ 1987 song Sweet Child O’ Mine while dropping some clues like Russell Crowe’s Zeus with an end that shows Thor’s former love interest Jane Foster wielding Mjolnir as the new Thor. However Loki is not seen but he probably has something up his sleeves if he shows in the ‘Love and Thunder’.
Jane Foster’s last appearance was in 2013 Thor: The Dark World and so is uncertain what Jane Foster’s storyline would be as in the comic, Mjolnir sought out Jane after Thor was considered unworthy and Thor authorised her to use his name Thor while he adopted the name “Odinson” to avoid confusion.
Marvel’s trailer reveals Jane’s heroic persona as “The Mighty Thor.”
